A good example of an English P1796 officers or troopers sword. Being of the generic 1796 light cavalry pattern this sword has the standard knuckle bow in brass with a superb chequered ivory grip. The blade being plain with no markings or makers stamp, this being not uncommon. In good clean condition this is a nice variant of the light cavalrys P1796 sword |
