| This is an extremely rare Glaive d Artillerie de Marine M1792. These artillery Marine swords are incredibly scarce and it is nice to find one with its original scabbard though sadly missing its chape. This example with the dogs head and mane grip, with an inspection mark stamped to the forte of the blade being an MR with embossed surround. This being the inspection mark for de CABANNES Lieutenant-colonel Colonel (août 1792) This is a nice clean example |
