A rare example of the Model 1829 Saxony heavy cavalry troopers sword. This is a very rare sword and very few are ever seen on the market. This one comes complete with its original scabbard which has pitting and a slight hole through to the bottom of the scabbard close to the drag. This sword is of monster proportions and is very heavy. The blade bearing the royal cypher being a crown AR and the 2 to 3 bar guard has the regimental stamping 11.s.57 Please check the picture as im not sure I have represented the regimental mark clearly. A rare opportunity to buy a rarely seen sword |
