Having gold gilt foliate chased inlaid scrolling metalwork throughout, the barrel with parcel gilt foliate decoration for half its length
Length overall 15 1/2 inches.

This would have been used by an officer in the Lancers of wealth, As was the vogue fashion of the times it was made with Eastern decoration. Even the wood has been inlaid with silver wire to create decorative patterns. The pommel cap is made in the Queen Anne Grotesque style depicting cannon and banners
